Price your website
Most business websites need three pages: Home, Services and Contact, for a flat $3,300. Say what your site does, build it, and the number follows; nothing is sent until you send it.The estimate did not load, so nothing adds up here. Reload to try again; each price is also on this page below.
01 What does it do?
Tap what applies. Nothing here costs extra.
02 Build it
Home holds everything. Give a thing its own page, $400, and it can rank for its own searches.

What happens next
- I reply Within one business day: your price confirmed, my next open kickoff date, the agreement and an Order of your picks.
- You sign Nothing is owed before you sign. The $1,250 booking deposit reserves your two weeks.
- Day one The kickoff date on your Order, once the deposit has cleared and everything the Order lists is in. If anything on that list is late, day one moves to my next open date, never more than 30 calendar days out.
- Live Two weeks from day one.
Included in every website
Written and built
- Professional copywriting on every page, with your prices or how you quote
- Mobile-first design, on-page SEO, local business schema and SSL
- A contact form and a quote or booking request, spam-filtered, to your inbox
While I build it
- A homepage preview within 48 hours of day one
- Unlimited revisions before launch, to the pages that are there; a page rebuilt in a different direction is a new page, at $400, agreed before I start it
- If a change would move the launch date, I tell you and you decide
At launch and after
- 100/100 on PageSpeed Insights and WCAG 2.2 AA at launch; this page scores 100/100: test this page, opens in a new tab (Google’s phone runs vary by a point or two)
- A dated accessibility statement page, saying what was tested and against what
- A page of what Google saw, thirty days after launch
Yours to keep
- Your domain, kept or new, and hosting on Cloudflare’s free plan, both in your name: the domain is about $15 a year, paid to its registrar on your own card; a domain someone else holds is moved into your name first, where that is possible, and you know what it takes before you pay
- Google Business Profile, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools setup; email forwarding from your domain to the inbox you already use
- Full source code and every login at handoff, and a one-year warranty
What each tool does
Ten tools, each a tile in the estimate above. Bought once and yours: no widget, no subscription.
Two prices each: one with the site, and one for adding it to a site I built. The four modules need the dashboard, and they ask nothing of you that the site does not already ask.
01 Your dashboard
$1,200 for the one login your site has
A dashboard at your own address, in your own Cloudflare account. Write a post, change the line on every page, change your hours.
No WordPress, no plugin and nobody of mine in the loop; no customer ever signs in. Four modules plug into it, each bought on its own.
- Built as
- A private page of your site behind one login, writing what you change straight into the pages, with nothing about anybody held.
- After launch
- $1,500.
- From you
- The email address the login goes to; nothing else.
- Edit your menu and prices
- Your menu, your services, your prices, changed by you the day they change. $400 with the site, $500 after launch.
- Update your own photos
- Upload, reorder and caption from your phone, sized by the site so the page stays fast. $400 with the site, $500 after launch.
- Specials and coupons
- A dated offer with a code they show at the counter; it comes down on the date you set. $400 with the site, $500 after launch.
- Your schedule and events
- Classes, live music, market dates, the season, changed by you and shown on the site. $400 with the site, $500 after launch.
02 Cost estimator
$800 for an estimator that sends nothing
An estimator like the one at the top of this page, for your own prices. Pick the job or the package and see the number.
A roof by the square, a plate by the head count, a sauna by the footprint: whatever you quote by, the customer has a number, marked as an estimate, before anyone calls.
- Built as
- Your pricing rules as a small program in the visitor’s browser, with your phone number and a link that writes the estimate into their own email.
- After launch
- $1,000.
- From you
- The rules you quote by and the figures; you check the numbers before it goes up.
03 Order sheet
$800 for an order that lands in your inbox
Your customers pick items, see the total and send it to you. Takeout, catering, a custom piece: the order arrives as an email or a text.
No payment on the site and no account for the customer: they order, you confirm, and the card is handled where it always was.
- Built as
- Your items and prices as a list on the page, a running total, and a button that writes the order into the customer’s own email or text.
- After launch
- $1,000.
- From you
- The items, the prices, and the address or number orders go to.
04 Live availability
$800 for a calendar read, not kept
Your open times, read from the calendar you already keep. A request goes to your inbox; nothing is booked on the site.
The site shows the open times your calendar shows and holds nothing about anybody: the booking itself happens with you, as it does now.
- Built as
- A read of the free and busy times on a calendar you already keep, drawn on the page, with a request that goes to your inbox.
- After launch
- $1,000.
- From you
- Read-only access to that calendar, granted by its admin; no password of yours and no key billed to you.
05 Service area map
$300 for Minnesota, drawn in code
Minnesota drawn in code, your towns and counties lit, on your Contact page. No other company’s map, no script, still 100.
A customer sees at a glance whether you come to them, and a search engine reads the towns you serve as text.
- Built as
- The state’s outline and your area as one drawing in the page, the towns you serve named in text beside it.
- After launch
- $400.
- From you
- The towns and counties you serve.
06 QR codes
$300 for codes you print anywhere
A code for the counter that drops a customer straight into your Google review box, one for the menu on the table, one for the booking tool on the truck. Print them anywhere.
Each code is a file you own, sized for print, pointing at a page of your own site or at the review link Google gives you.
- Built as
- Codes as print-ready files, each pointing at your site or your review link, with a page on the site to open on a phone.
- After launch
- $400.
- From you
- Where each code should land.
After launch
- A page, after launch Built to the same standard as the rest of your site
- $600
- A round of updates After two weeks of free updates: one email, up to two hours of work, done within two business days
- $125
- Twelve prepaid rounds Bought any time, no expiry: twelve for $1,200, against $125 a round bought one at a time
- $1,200
- Annual site audit Every page and link tested and your Google Business Profile checked; it fixes what I wrote wrong
- $250
Any tool can come later, at the later price in its chapter above.
What stays
- Still 100 Every tool is built into your site; nothing third-party runs on the page.
- Still your accounts No tool asks for a password, an admin seat or a key billed to you.
- Still your booking tool Your site links to the booking or ordering tool you already use.
- Still no monthly fees No retainer, no subscription, no card on file.
Say what it does, build it, see the number; the email is written for you, with four lines to fill in under your picks.
